The CRS is based in Rotherham, England, and has thousands of subscribers throughout the world. It is dedicated to promoting the growth of all classic & progressive rock music, but particularly of new and up-and-coming bands.
The society focuses on three main areas:
- Publication of its monthly magazine “Rock Society” (formerly “Wondrous Stories”)
- Promoting monthly gigs at the Oakwood Centre, Rotherham & Herringthorpe Leisure Centre
- Sales of CDs and promotional items
What you see here in these web pages is just a very small sample of the coverage provided by our quality monthly magazine. We are happy to supply sample copies on request. These are free in the UK, but incur £2.50 postage to anywhere else in the world.
